You will become an essential, integral part of the art experience, guiding visitors through a journey they won't soon forget. You will immerse yourself in your role and bring the artwork to life through body language and/or spoken word!

During the evening, you will be responsible for one of the artworks at Dineum. Before a new group enters, you ensure that the edible component of the artwork is prepared and ready for the guests. You then step into your role and enter the installation in costume to guide visitors and/or present the edible element. Depending on the specific artwork, you will interact silently, through body language, or with spoken dialogue.

Once the group departs, you clean and sanitize the installation according to HACCP standards, preparing the space for the next group of visitors. At the start of the evening, you initialize the artwork setup, and at the end of the shift, you close down the installation according to protocol.

How it works

- Depending on the artwork you manage, you can bring your own unique interpretation to the role. Available roles include:

  • Artwork 1: The character depicted in the photograph on this page (in this room, food grows on the visitors' plates); a hospitality background is helpful, alongside strong non-verbal acting skills.

  • Artwork 2: A character with an agricultural background. This role primarily requires core acting skills.

  • Artwork 3: A character with two distinct mood shifts (businesslike and cold versus warm and super welcoming). A hospitality background is beneficial for this role.

  • Artwork 4: A character based on an enlightened guru / spiritual guide / space holder, leaning on the edge of satire. This role primarily requires strong acting skills.

It is possible to be trained for multiple roles; we will evaluate which role best suits each performer.  Cross-training for other positions is also available (such as Experience Host, Art Host, or Backstage Plating Assistant).

- You will work in a welcoming team within a flexible staff pool.

- An evening shift runs from 17:00 to 23:00 (excluding pre-shift meal and post-shift drink); exact times vary based on your role and ticket sales. Who We Are Looking For
